At Carlisle Congregational Church, we’re passionate about nurturing your children’s faith in Jesus through exciting, age-appropriate experiences that make learning about God both meaningful and fun. In our Sunday programming for children birth through fifth grade, we welcome children into gospel-centered care where our dedicated ministry team creates a safe, Christ-centered environment. Every child can discover God’s love through biblically sound, engaging lessons designed specifically for their age group and learn to apply His Word to their lives.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the check-in process look like?

When you arrive, head to the Carlisle Kids desk, just inside the entrance at the “Enter Here” sign. Our team will check you in, answer any questions, and help your child feel right at home.

Nursery (infant–Pre-K) is available for the entire service. Kids (K–5) begin in worship with their families, then head to classrooms after the Lord’s Prayer for age-appropriate teaching and activities. Children are always welcome to stay with you for the whole service.

All volunteers go through background checks and receive training in child safety and ministry best practices from our Children’s Director. Every classroom has live-feed cameras and viewing windows so you can always see what’s happening. We want you to feel confident that your child is not only safe but also cared for.

Your kids will learn about God’s love through Bible teaching, songs, and activities that point to Jesus. We use a Christ-centered curriculum that walks through the big story of the Bible (currently the Gospel Story Curriculum by Marty Machowski)

Absolutely. We understand that discipling your kids is both a joy and a challenge. That’s why we come alongside you with encouragement, resources, and community as you help your kids know and follow Jesus.

We offer fun events throughout the year—like Vacation Bible School, our Block Party, pumpkin carving, and an Easter Egg Hunt—so kids and families can connect beyond Sunday mornings.

Carlisle Kids Director

Lyndsay Schofield loves serving as director of children’s ministry here at Carlisle Congregational, where she prepares and oversees the instruction of our gospel-centered curriculum. Lyndsay also has a heart for supporting moms that are seeking to disciple their children, while growing in faith themselves. She is so thankful to be able to serve our Carlisle kids and would love to help get you connected to our church community!
